This is a glossary meant to supplement some of the content on this website by linking terms used in the content.

It will be, mostly, photography terms but I reserve the right to add some other categories if I feel the need to link to such content in articles.

Glossary entries generally will contain my own summary and information, followed by some Wikipedia content to fill in the gaps.

Some items may also have related content from this website or other articles I choose to link to from the content.

ArtBritannica defines art as "defines art as a visual object or experience consciously created through an expression of skill or imagination." But what does constitute art?
EXIFEXIF stands for Exchangeable Image File Format which is a format for providing information in image files.
IPTC (Metadata)IPTC metadata or Information Interchange Model (IIM) is a type of metadata applied to images.
LightroomLightroom is photography cataloguing and editing software by Adobe.
MetadataMetadata is information stored in your image file that provides more information about the photo.
XMPXMP stands for Extensible Media Platform which is a metadata system created by Adobe.
